We have used other car rental services in Lagos/Faro airport and this is by far the best. The service is excellent. An email was sent one day before we departed for Faro to say where the car would be at the airport. It was there exactly as stated. It was clean and ready to go. No problems and no hidden extras. The other car rental company we used during the summer was dreadful. Lots of hidden extras. We waited 1.5 hours in their waiting area, about 10 minutes from the airport, and this was after we had tracked down the representative who appeared to be in hiding. Then we had to find the car hire shuttle bus. The two people ahead of us in the queue to 'do' the paper work which took about 25 minutes returned to complain as their cars were faulty. I cannot praise Lagorental high enough. Superb and efficient service. Superb cars, we had the economy model, and great value for money. ~ Linda B

Fantastic Service We had a really good experience with our car hire with LagoRent in Faro. They were our rental hire company through Enjoy Car Hire rental aggregator. We had asked for car pick up at their office and they were ready with our car on the designated day. We wanted a 7 seater but were offered a 9 seater which was way more roomier. The guy, Pedro at Lagorent was cordial and efficient. At the time of drop off, he gave a quick look around the car and offered to drop us off at the airport. Efficient, Quick and no pressure service. The best place to rent a car in the Algarve. Professional service combined with competitive rates makes Lagorent the only agency I will use when visiting. I have used this agency twice now for long term rentals and they have been extremely accommodating and helpful. I even had a couple of minor issues this last time and they took care of me with no questions asked. My thanks to Armenio, Andre, Xavier and all the team at Lagorent for providing myself and family with superb service. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Auto. Die haben recht neue Autos. Wir hatten einen VW Polo mit dem komplett Packet der Versicherung und alle Kilometer inkl. für eine Woche zum Preis von 140€. Das gibt's bestimmt irgendwo billiger aber nicht mit dieser Qualität. Die Übergaben beim abholen und beim abgeben waren einwandfrei. Sie wurden Dokumentiert und von beiden Seiten unterschrieben damit es beim abgeben des Fahrzeugs keine Probleme gibt. Sowas hat uns bei anderen Anbietern schon mal viel Nerven gekostet. ~ Kobold

Am a big fan of Lagorent, always use them. not the cheapest, but if you look at the package overall it's comprehensive. Sensible excess levels, no extra fees etc. - It's good. Great staff, pleasure to deal with. back soon. One point to note, is the case if malicious damage, a not infrequent occurrence, you will find yourself paying for it if you don't have it covered. Their own insurance never covers it under any circumstances. Add it from the start.- ~ Tom B

Wir haben uns als Hotelgäste (Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve) einen Mietwagen genutzt. Uns wurde das Auto zum Hotel gebracht und den Folgetag wieder abgeholt. Die Übergabe war einfach, professionell und zügig. Ich empfehle Lagorent! ~ Julian M

Efficient and accommodating! We rented on the April 25 holiday so there was only one person working. I called ahead and he waited 30 minutes for me to find their office and then processed my rental. He had to take a car to another site, but he had waited for me. The other rentals in Lagos did not have automatic transmission cars, but Lagorent did. Really enjoyed driving around Algarve thanks to the gentleman who worked on a national holiday, but took care of his customers well. ~ Hanhwe K

No problems, nice car, automatic which I enjoyed as a bit of a change. Tip get the transponder if you plan to explore the Algarve. Bit of a misunderstanding from my end regarding credit card charges but they were extremely courteous and professional. Wir waren leicht verspätet zur Abholung gekommen. Der Mitarbeiter wollte gerade Mittagspause machen und hat für uns extra noch mal aufgeschlossen und uns den Wagen noch gegeben. Es wurde nicht versucht, uns irgendwelche Versicherungen aufzuschwatzen. Dies haben wir bei anderen Vermietern schon ganz anders erlebt. Das Fahrzeug wurde beim Abholen und Abgeben mit uns gemeinsam besichtigt und auch erklärt. Auch das haben wir schon anders erlebt. Eine ordnungsgemäße Rückgabe wurde uns auf Wunsch bestätigt. Insgesamt ein super Service. Eine absolute Weiterempfehlung. ~ Matthias S

Dealing with Lago rent and Cristiano was a breeze and as easy as can be! Cristiano made me feel as if I was renting from a friend with no pressure whatsoever. Smoothest and least hassle car rental experience i’ve ever had. Booked via Zest Car Rental and Lagorent dropped car to my door within two hours of booking, exactly on time. I usually hate renting cars on vacation (stressful, expensive, pressured into extra insurance, etc) but the team at Lagorent were amazing. Easy to book online, pick up was smooth, vehicle was great (happened to be brand new to them the day before), and drop off was quick and efficient. Managed to hire a car at very short notice after our campervan broke down. The staff were really helpful (both spoke perfect English) and made the pick up and drop off very easy.
